Phase II: BUILD
November - April 2024
Build your ideas & prototype in the lab.
Selected teams hash out their idea & execute their experimental plans in the lab space to develop a proof-of-concept. Academic and industrial experts provide guidance.

Two selected teams develop solutions over 5mo
Compete towards Grand Prize of CHF 30,000 Cash (2nd place: CHF 10,000)
Network & advisory from Lonza & academia
Lab component: prototype in our lab
Theory component: develop your solution to be scientifically sound & well-researched

Grant of CHF 25,000 awarded to Team Unomr & CHF 5k awarded to Team Fempatch
Lab space for prototyping (6mo +)

Phase III: PITCH & GRAND PRIZE
May 2024
Final pitch event to showcase Startup Team’s work to Investors & decide the Forge Grand Prize Winner.
Concludes with a Final Pitch Event where teams present their prototypes and pitch for the grand prize. Further development & collaboration is encouraged.
