Explore the startup scene, meet potential teammates, exchange ideas, and start building your team at our Workshop.
Register your team and prepare your application with a 3-4 page summary of your business & research proposal.
If you’re among the top teams you will be invited to pitch your ideas in a pitch presentation at our selection event where the two to three best teams will be admitted into the Build Phase.
PROGRAM DETAILS
The top 2-3 teams, each receiving up to CHF 8,000 grant, will spend the next six months developing their project in the lab, refining their technology, and building a viable business plan. Workshops will also be organised to support your startup development (IP, business, pitching, VC, expert mentoring).
At the end of the Build Phase, both teams will showcase their idea in front of an expert jury, with the best team receiving a CHF 5,000 cash prize.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
You are welcome to apply for the program if:
Your team consists of 2–6 members.
At least one team member is currently a student (Bachelor, Master’s, or PhD) or a postdoc at a Swiss university.
You’re ready to put in some time and energy: the program is designed to fit alongside your studies, but it does require steady commitment.
If your project involves lab work, most of your team should be in Zürich during the build phase to make use of the lab space we can offer.
