A 30-hour hackathon at the intersection of multi-omics, and AI-driven protein design. Build real tools. Hack the next healthcare challenge.
May 30 – 31, 2026 | Zürich | 2 Tracks
DECODE GENOMES. DESIGN PROTEINS. BUILD THE FUTURE.
Multiomics Intelligence Track
Genomics - Transcriptomics - Precision Medicine
Track 1 powered by Roche
Harness genomics and transcriptomics data to build precision diagnostics, biomarker discovery pipelines, or patient stratification tools. Roche provides real-world datasets, domain mentorship, and compute resources.
Biomolecular Design Track
Track 2 powered by Adaptyv Bio / Openfold ??
Proteomics - 3D Structure - Discovery
Design novel proteins computationally from target selection to structure prediction to binder generation. Top designs get experimentally validated in AdaptyvBio's wet lab. OpenFold provides open-source structural biology infrastructure.

FAQ
-
Students (BSc, MSc, PhD) and early-career researchers from any university. You don't need to be a bioinformatics expert we welcome ML engineers, software developers, biologists, chemists, and designers. Interdisciplinary teams win!
-
No. You can apply solo and we'll help you find teammates at the kick-off event. Teams of 3–5 work best.
-
Track 1 (Multi-omics): Roche mentorship, and cash prizes for top 2 teams
Track 2 (Protein Design): Experimental design validation by AdaptyvBio with results published on Proteinbase, and cash prizes for top 2 teams -
Yes. Participation is completely free. Food, drinks, snacks, and compute resources are provided!
-
Laptop, charger, sleeping bag if you want to hack overnight, curiosity, and willingness to learn. We provide everything else!
-
Not necessarily. We'll run intro workshops on Saturday morning, and mentors will be available throughout. If you know Python and are excited about biology, you'll do great.
